Lorraine Barbara Nowicki's Obituary
On December 14, 2021, Lorraine Barbara Nowicki (Prange) left her earthy world and took the Lord’s hand to go to heaven to be with her husband Jerry, daughter Pam Thayer and son Gary.
Lorraine was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 15, 1935, to Walter and Cecilia Prange. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Jim) and son Kevin (Anita), ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and her brother Dennis (Beverly).
After retiring from Retail Clerks, she worked part-time, joined a bowling league and learned to crochet. Lorraine loved to travel, care for her grandchildren and delighted in the joy her kids gave her. She took part in fun endeavors like crafts, playing the slots, wild rides at Disneyland and many, many card games while jokingly calling the kids cheaters. She was our rock, our muse, our best friend and confidante.
Lorraine will be missed tremendously by her family and those special friends that knew her. We will always treasure those memories we made with her. Although we know she's in a better place, it will be hard to repair the void her absence leaves in our hearts.
