Lloyd W. Sawyer's Obituary
Lloyd Sawyer was born March 22, 1949, in Watsonville, CA and passed peacefully on February 22 in Sonora, CA. He is survived by his longtime companion, Cynthia Korenko, of Sonora, cousins Richard King of Murphys, Jerome King of Carmel Valley, Patrick Fitz of Aptos, Jay Fitz of Texas, and Ken Cowart of Santa Cruz. Lloyd was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved fishing, camping, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Lloyd “Buzz” Sawyer and brother Barry Sawyer. He will be missed by his many friends and family, who all enjoyed his humor, creativity, and personality. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyd’s name can be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Mt. Diablo Silverado Council.Services will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA.
