Livia Santiago's Obituary
Livia Santiago Livia died peacefully on April 15, 2009 in Alamo California just 3 months shy of her 89th birthday. She was born to Narciso and Flora Marty on July 6, 1920 in Lajas, Puerto Rico. On June 13, 1943, she married Felix Santiago, and later gave birth to two of her three daughters while still living in Puerto Rico. In 1946, the family left the island and moved to Contra Costa County, where her third daughter was born. Four years later, the family relocated to Hayward, and were long time residents of that city when her beloved husband Felix died in 1995. Livia will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and a devout member of her church. She is survived by her three daughters: Enid Napoli, and her husband John, Magaly Ragle, and her husband Stephen, and Minerva Zabilski with her husband Robert. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, April 21, at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA (510) 471 3363. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to her church: Latin American Missions Inc. 24653 Surrey Way, Hayward CA 94544.
