LISA J ISLER's Obituary
Lisa J. Isler Jan. 1, 1958 – July 30, 2014 Loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, & Friend A New Year’s baby born in Oakland, Ca to Willie Lou and J.C. Isler. Lisa attended Hayward schools and graduated from Heald Business College. She made the Bay Area her home where she raised three kids and worked for BART for over 25 years. Lisa proudly represented SEIU 1021 as Union President. Lisa is best known for her negotiating and savvy writing skills. She rooted for the underdog and was a great advocate for worker’s rights. Hobbies included a love of music, animals, and baseball, “Let’s Go A’s!” But, most of all, Lisa will be remembered for her devotion and love for her children and grandchildren. Lisa is survived by her loving husband Carlos Gonzales of 12 years, children Adam Kayhoor, Jennifer (Danny) Maldonado, and Daniel Isler, the lights of her life, her grandchildren: Alex, Willie, Lou, Markis, Aliyah, & Baby Danny, Brother, Don (Kathryn) Isler, and her dog, Oscar. Preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Mark Isler, Nephew, Jake Isler, and Grandson, Angel Kayhoor. She will be greatly missed. Friends and Family are invited to a visitation and funeral service on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 at 9:30am at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward
