Li-Ping Lee Lai's Obituary
LiPing Lee Lai, 65, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, peacefully in her home in Fremont, CA, surrounded by her family, after a four year battle with lung cancer.She was born on January 2, 1952 in Nan Tou, Taiwan to Lee Young Shin (Father) and Cheng Mei (Mother). LiPing grew up with nine brothers and sisters in Nan Tou and graduated from Taipei Second Girls Secondary School. She attended Chung Shing University and graduated in 1973 with a BS in Agriculture. She worked in various fields and jobs throughout her life, including bio-technician, computer software programmer, and office management and purchasing.LiPing was wedded to Teh Tsung on September 28, 1975, and their marriage of 42 was full of happiness and devotion.LiPing enjoyed dancing, travel, exercising, and enjoying time with friends and family.LiPing is survived by her husband Teh Tsung; her eldest son, Nicky Lai, and daughter-in-law Cara Frasco, and grandsons Charlie and Andy; her second son, Paul Lai, and daughter-in-law Elaine Lai, and granddaughter Eden Jubilee; and her third son, Sonny Lai.A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544, at 12 noon on January 2, 2018. In lieu of gifts, the family requests donations to the New Hope Chinese Cancer Care Foundation in memory of LiPing Lai.
