Linda Joyce (Roberts) Dominguez Age 74 Long time resident of Newark, CA Died of complications from pneumonia on January 2, 2016 in Modesto, CABorn April 2, 1941 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Willie James and Emogene Daisy Phillips, Linda moved to Russel City, CA as an infant and grew up in Hayward CA. Linda moved to Newark, CA where she lived and raised her family for 50 years, and she spent the last several years in Patterson, CA with her daughter, son in law and granddaughters.Linda was a very warm and caring Mother and Grandmother, she was like a mom to many of her nieces, nephews and her children’s friends, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked in electronics and as a cashier, her interests were crocheting, bowling, pool and playing bingo.Linda was predeceased by her parents Wille and Emogene Phillips, sister Willie Jean Brooke, Brother David Phillips, Great grandson Daniel Roberts, Partner Raymond Charles Dominguez Sr.She is survived by Daughter Virginia Melius (John), Sons Tom Jr. and Chester Roberts, Raymond Jr. and Richard Dominguez. Grandchildren Thomas Roberts III, Alustra Dominguez-Meyer, Richard Dominguz Jr, Jessica, Sara, Darleen and Cielo Melius, Great grandson Joshua Roberts. Also survived by her siblings, Edna Garcia (Carlos), Betty Garcia (Ernie), Judy Wright, James Phillips (Norma), Randy Phillips (Linda), Donna Catlett (Joe), Kathy Hayes, Richard Phillips (Bobbi), Sandra Cunningham, and many nieces and nephews.She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
