Lillian Louise Stacy's Obituary
Lillian Stacy, a resident of Modesto for eight years, entered into rest in Modesto on Friday, January 25, 2002. She was born in Carver, MN on October 15, 1926 and was 75 years of age. She was a professional waitress who served customers at Kirby's Merritt Restaurant and the Elegant Farmer for over 40 years, Lil was known for having a sharp crew! She loved baseball, the A's and Giants and attended the 1962 World Series with the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants, taking her son's out of school to go with her.She is survived by her loving sons, Gerald Stacy of Camino and Mike Stacy of San Leandro. The dear sister of Ann, Elanor, Alvina, Donna, Marian, Joann, Ernie John and Don all of Minnesota. The caring grandmother of John, Corey, Jeremy, Mark, Sheila and Jeff. Lil was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Gerald L. Stacy on December 25, 2001.Family and friends may visit on Friday, February 1, 2002 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, Hayward. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 2, 2002 in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
