LEVERETTE "LEV" O. L. LEMKE, died Sunday, May 19, 2002 at his home in Fremont, California. He was born in Modesto, California on March 27, 1940. He was raised in Hayward, California and Fremont, California since 1985. He was a graduate of Washington Union High School in Fremont, California Class of 1958. He spent 3 years in the Army serving in Germany and then was an auto parts counterman for over 30 years. He retired from the automotive industry in 1995 and became self-employed as a home repair specialist. He is survived by his soul mate of 14 years, Sandy Grissom, his mother, Lorraine Lemke of Hayward, a brother, Stan Lemke of Fremont, a sister, Glenda Steverson of Las Vegas, a son, Steve Lemke of Santa Cruz, a daughter, Debra Lemke of Fremont, a daughter, Sheryll Brewer of Redding, California and six grandchildren.Family and Friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, May 22, 2002 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home - Reflection Chapel with Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544.CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK & FUNERAL HOME -HAYWARD, CA (510) 471-3363."SERVICE OF MARKED DISTINCTION"
