Leroy Richard Hibner's Obituary
God blessed Leroy Richard Hibner’s life for 80 years and he has now gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing him immediately felt his caring, nurturing and love of life, which he shared throughout his life. A very unique bond with his family, he is preceded in death by his parents, William and Orpha Hibner and a brother, Don Hibner, all of Hallam, PA. After attending York Junior College, he was an engineer for HR Singer. Moving to Ocean City, MD, he owned a renowned fish market. He purchased the oldest bar and liquor store in Bunnell, FL, which is known as a local, community gathering place. He was presented a Key to the City of Bunnell, FL. An avid golfer, he moved to The Villages, FL and developed many life long friends. His pride was in hosting parties for the community. He was a Third Degree Mason and Shriner. He leaves his soul mate and beloved wife, Bonnie Daugherty Hibner of Hayward, CA, and a devoted step-son, Ryan Daugherty of Hayward, CA. He was blessed by raising his grandson, Mike Watts from Muncie, IN.
