Leny Samodio Galamay's Obituary
Leny was born October 19, 1952 in Paco, Manilla, Philippines. After high school Leny was a beautician. At 18 years old, she married and gave birth to her eldest, and only son, Rency. She worked in the hospitality industry for the majority of her career. She worked primarily at Holiday Inn Civic Center until her retirement in 2014 at the age of 62.
Leny enjoyed online shopping, taking Snapchat selfies, watching Korean Dramas, Mukbang’s, and taking trips to Reno to play in the casinos. Her favorite slot machines were Triple Diamond and Buffalos. She loved spending time with her family, whether it be at a family gathering, dinner celebrations, or just going to lunch with her kids and grandkids.
Leny is survived by her loving husband Florencio, known to most as Boy, and their four daughters and their spouses: Frances & Steve, Michelle & Joe, Christiane & Zonui and Venessa & Ruben and their children - her grandchildren, which she cherished: Jazmine & Raymond, Raymond (Ray Ray), and Jayleen, Stevie, Francine, Alexis, Milo, Joe Francisco, Diego & Laura, Lissette & Jackie, Josephine & Arnold, Angelo, Angelina, Yzavella, Victoria, Callista, Kiara, along with their children - her great-grandchildren: Ryder, Roman, Raiden, Rune, Remmy, Romeo, Noah, Zelia, Rachel, Adriella, Nakai and another on the way! Leny also leaves her sisters and brothers: Mila & Rommy, Nora & Joe, Fred, Sara, Marlene & Eddy, Teresita, Mary Ann & Eugene in addition to her many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
