Laverne Joyce Madera age 70 of Hayward California passed away August 18, 2019. Born in Maui Hawaii On May 4, 1949. Graduated from Pacific high school In San Leandro California. She was married to Leonard madera on January 29, 1970. She retired from Bay cities auto auction in 2013 as a clerk typist. She had a passion for being a collector of many collectibles from all sorts of figurines. Most of her passion was for her family. She was well known for her sweet smile and her loving heart. She was survived by her husband Leonard madera, daughter Theresa Madera, son Leonard Madera Jr, grandchildren, Angelina Rodriguez, Sitaifoni Fukofuka, Keanu Fukofuka, Kimo Fukofuka, Courtney Madera, and great grandchild Koa Fukofuka. Her mother Loretta Castro, siblings Anthony Castro and Ronald Castro. Funeral arrangements will be held 12 noon on August 31, 2019 at Chapel of the chimes.
