Laurita A. Tedesco- Burkholder's Obituary
Laurita “Teddy” A. (Tedesco) Burkholder of Fremont passed away on July 19, 2015. Dearly beloved wife of 65 years to Ernest “Joe” L. Burkholder. She is survived by her daughters; Denise Fleming, Tracey Burkholder and Kelly Antonini (Dennis), 3 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, 2 great grandsons and 1 brother, Fred Tedesco. Laurita moved from New York in 1960 to Hayward, then moving to Fremont after purchasing a brand new home with her husband in 1965. She was a volunteer for the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, Active member of the Senior Center. Laurita was a loving lady always caring for folks. She worked in banking for 33 years as a Financial Advisor and Safe Custodian at 1st American Savings which became Washington Mutual and now Chase retiring at the age of 75. She enjoyed all her years working with great people in her chosen career. Born Catholic and became Lutheran with her husband and considered Prince of Peace there 2nd home ever since 1975. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 38451 Fremont Blvd. Fremont, CA 94538 beginning at 1:00PM.
