Lauretta V. Aho's Obituary
Lauretta “Rita” V. Aho, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 24, 2016 with her loving family around her. Lauretta, was born March 16, 1924. Lauretta was raised in Cottonwood, Arizona. The family moved to the Bay Area where she met Martin Aho, they were married then raised four children. Lauretta spent most of her life in the Bakery Business. The most important thing in her life were her family. She enjoyed dinner and dancing at the Fratellanza & Ligure Club for social gatherings where she got to spend time with friends and family. She also enjoyed baking, sewing and ballroom dancing. She was sweet, kind and thoughtful person who always asked about others. “Grandma-Mom” was a wonderful mom, grandma & great grandma. Lauretta is survived by three children Virginia, Dennis, Kathy. John (preceded in death). 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grand Children and her special friend Alex De Benedetti (preceded her in death) Memorial contributions can be made in Lauretta’s name to the Hospice of the East Bay Special thanks to Skip and Betsy, Maritza and Hospice of the East Bay for the wonderful care you gave to our Mom!
