Laureano Santos De Guzman a Fremont resident entered into rest Friday, April 12, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on July 4, 1923, he was 78 years of age. He worked for the Army Air Force Exchange Service for 47 years as a Motor pool Supervisor.Dearly beloved husband of Estelita S. De Guzman. Loving father of Teresita De Guzman of Tampa, Florida, Julieta Punsalan of Laurel, Maryland, Sherry Lynn Ellasos, Mercedes De Guzman, Ranato De Guzman, Oscar De Guzman, and Romeo De Guzman all of Fremont, California. Dear brother of Nieves De Guzman, Emilia De Guzman, and Cristina De Guzman all from the Philippines and Mario De Guzman, deceased. Devoted grandfather of twelve grandchildren.Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2002 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Wednesday, April 17, 2002 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at the Mission Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a funeral service Thursday, April 18, 2002 at 10:30 am in the Mission Chapel with Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.ãService of Marked Distinctionä
