Koeun Bun Beng's Obituary
Mr. Koeun Bun Beng was born in Battambang, Cambodia on May 7th, 1942 where he was a landlord and held a business subleasing farmlands. He also worked for the Cambodian government where he learned to speak English and French. In 1984 he came to the United States as a refugee from communist rule and established his family in Oakland, Ca. where he spent the rest of his life supporting his children. Mr. Beng enjoyed traveling back to his native Cambodia, boxing and quite time. He is survived by his wife Rosy, Sons; Mateo, Larry and Daughters; Michelle, Melanie and Amanda.
