Kevin Mark Boyles' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Mark Boyles at Kaiser San
Leandro hospital 1 December, 2022. Kevin was born in Eureka 2 September, 1969 and
except for about 6 months, lived his entire life in the East Bay Area. He was a beloved
husband, father, son, and brother. Upon graduation from James Logan High School in
1987, where he played saxophone in the band, he began his career in information
technology, last working in IT security for Santa Clara County. Along the way he became an
EMT and an amateur photographer. Kevin was an avid reader, and there was little about
which he lacked knowledge. He was an historian with a special interest in the Civil War and
the history of not only his own family, but that of his in-laws, a movie buff, though his all time
favorites were My Cousin Vinnie and It’s A Wonderful Life. Kevin was also a lover of
anything Disney, counting Walt Disney as his biggest hero, and an avid baseball
fan—especially when his sons were playing!
Kevin is survived by his wife, Pamela, sons Conner and Alexander, Parents Dick and
Barbara Boyles, sister Alicia Boyles and numerous friends and extended family members.
He will be missed by all.
There will be a celebration of life at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward at 12:00 19 Dec.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Humboldt county.
