Kathyleen E. Routier Aug. 24, 1933-Jan. 24, 2014Kathyleen Routier passed away on Jan. 24, 2014 at the age of 80. Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544. A viewing will be held Sat., Feb. 1, from 5:00-9:00 pm and funeral service and burial will be held Sun., Feb. 2, at 10:00 am. Kathyleen was born in Chicago, IL. She resided in Fremont, CA for the past 40 years. Kathyleen’s main occupation for over 20 years was at the Chief Petty Officers Club at the Alameda Naval Air Station. Her duties included head waitress, manager, and event coordinator. She loved her family very much and always looked forward to getting together, especially at the grandchildren’s birthday parties. Kathyleen had a great sense of humor. She loved to go on trips and cruises with her sister, Marilyn, and Ray delaPena. Kathyleen was born Aug. 24, 1933 to the late Nicholas and Ethel Wagner. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, George, son Bob Roland and wife Kathy, daughter Janet Conley, daughter Lynette Shears and husband Chris, daughter Renee Contreras and husband Tony, and her brother Harry Wagner and Tania Welch along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Marilyn delaPena. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren – Robert Roland and wife Christy, Ryan Roland and wife Kathleen, Michael Baca and Heather, Mark Conley and wife Jennifer, Jami Conley, Sarah Shears, Russell Contreras and Michael Beaudette – and her 10 great-grandchildren – Austin and Riley Roland, Teyler, Heyden and Heylei Baca, Liam and Milo Conley, Alex Conley, Christopher Martinho Jr. and Sienna Roland. She will always be remembered and in our prayers.
