Kathryn Frances Foerster-ShoopOctober 7, 1963 – September 19, 2014Resident of Hayward, CaliforniaKathy passed away in Inglewood, California surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her Mother Joan in November, 2002 and her Husband Steve in January, 2014Born in Mt. View California to Bob and Joan Foerster, she grew up in Los Altos and graduated from Osakis High School in Minnesota in 1981. In her youth Kathy played AYSO soccer and Bobby Sox softball, high school soccer and badminton. She was a talented artist and enjoyed many aspects of art including painting and pottery. She was also active in the Campfire for Girls where she received the Wo-He-Lo award.As an adult Kathy loved attending A’s and Raiders games and riding with her husband on his Harley. They were married in 1990 and resided in Hayward since 1997. She was a loyal and dedicated employee at Cisco systems for the past 17 years. She was also active in the Order of the Eastern Star, Miramonte Chapter in Mt. View California.She leaves behind her loving Father Bob, Brother Jim, Sister Suzanne and Step Mother Beryl. Her creative spirit will be missed.A memorial service for Kathy will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward California at 1:00PM on October 15, 2014 followed by her internment in the cemetery
