Kathleen Dolores Heinemann's Obituary
Kathleen Dolores Heinemann It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen “Kathy” Heinemann on December 6, 2024 at the age of 79. She was surrounded by family and friends. Kathy was born at the Oakland Alameda Naval Hospital September 25, 1945 to Charles and Dolores Huddy. Kathy graduated from Washington High School and worked in the accounting department at Washington Hospital, in Fremont California, for 25 years before retiring. Known to many in the old Fremont neighborhood as “Misses B”, she loved the Oakland A’s and took up scorekeeping as a hobby. Lifelong friendships with the Williams’s, Blackmore’s and Jorgensen’s, just to name a few, flourished during the times their children grew. Upon retirement she moved to Vacaville, California then on to Tooele, Utah where she was a resident of Cottage Glen Assisted Living. Kathy is preceded in death by her Mother and Father; Dolores (Dode) and Charles (Dick) Huddy, Aunt and Uncle; Mary (Mae) and John (Jack) Styles, and Husband Melvin (Mel) Heinemann. She is survived by Sisters Chris Schild and Jeanette Smith, Brother Chuck Huddy, Son Michael Barrett, Daughter in law Renae Barrett and Grand-Daughter Shelby Barrett. An informal service will be held for Kathy at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, Ca on February 22, 2025 at 1 pm.
