Kathleen Harper English's Obituary
Kathleen passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at Common Destiny (Residential Home for Seniors). Kathleen was surrounded by loving family and her “three musketeers” (Denise, Cherie and Diana) along with wonderful caregivers from her residence and Vitas.Kathleen was born in August of 1923 in West Virginia and was raised in Van Lear, Kentucky. Kathleen made her way to Baltimore, Maryland to work for Montgomery Wards and subsequently was promoted and moved to California where she settled in San Leandro.Kathleen was proceeded in death by her one true love Warren Bruce English, brothers Buster Harper, Eugene Harper, parents Clarence and Lula. She is survived by her son Larry Snow, grandsons James and Michael Snow, great grandchildren Sydney and Hendrix Snow, siblings Pauline Hall and Bill Harper, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and each felt they were her special favorite.Kathleen was a loving faithful woman with a spirit to give unconditionally. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and those who cared for her. Crossroads Church in Fremont has been the home of her faith for the last 6 years.Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 26th at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on Mission Blvd in the Reflection Chapel. Chapel services at 10:30 am, crypt side service at 12 Noon with a celebration of life reception 1-3 pm in the hall next to the Reflection Chapel.
