I had the great opportunity and joy of working with Karin at HP at two different times. First was in the HiRel team in the '80s and then again in the early 2000s in the Protolab team. I loved working with Karin. She was loving and light hearted in whatever she was working on. Her warm personality was very infectious. At times she and I would get chatting away to one another as if we had known each other all our lives. She was funny and down-to-earth. Beautiful inside and out. Everyone loved her. Blessings to you Karin. Until we meet again.

I was lucky enough to work with Karin at HP in the ‘80s. What a joy it was to work alongside her— she was smart, dedicated, and had an incredible work ethic. But most of all, Karin brought laughter and fun to the group. She had us in stitches every day with her sense of humor and wonderful perspective on life. There wasn’t one person in our HiRel department that didn’t call Karin a friend. How truly grateful I am for having known her.
She always spoke about her family and how important they were to her. My deepest condolences to you all.
Karin, thank you for sharing your friendship and kindness with all of us! I miss you, my friend….for reals.

I spent many days & nights at the Buckelew home.
I loved all the noise, playing music and just hanging out. I would go home and wish I could be a member of the Buckelew clan!
Karin you were such a special friend to me.
You were so beautiful in every way.
So amazingly wonderful.
I think of you every day.

Karin and I were good friends as teenagers. We had lots of fun in high school together and had part time retail jobs at the same store. We lived two houses apart and shared the same Birthday. I have lots of good memories of Karen. On warm summer days we would walk to the local Thrifty store for ice cream cones. It may seem like a simple thing, but it is a memory that lives in my heart forever. Even though life took us in different directions, 50 years later we still kept in touch through our annual 2 hour phone calls. I will miss Karin greatly! My sincere condolences to David and family. Karin, may you rest in peace. ❤️
