1957 – 2016 Karen Renee Tice-Schmidt, a.k.a. Karen Sheppard, died at the age of 59 of natural causes at home in Carrollton, Texas, where her job transferred her 2 years ago. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St., Manteca, CA with Fr. Chad Wahl officiating. Burial will be at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA. Karen was born in Alameda, California to Cecilia L.G. Sheppard & Arthur A. Campanile on September 25, 1957. She went to school at St. Bede’s Catholic School, Hayward, CA and Mission San Jose High School, Fremont, CA. She graduated from San Jose State University as a Computer Programmer. She is survived by daughters: Katrina Neilani Tice & Rachelle Leinani Schmidt; mother: Cecilia Sheppard; siblings: Laureen Mesa & Kenneth Campanile; niece: Sirena Mesa; nephews: Derek & Daniel Campanile. Karen is preceded in death by father: Arthur Campanile; stepfather: William Sheppard.
