Jun Naredo Padama's Obituary
Jun (Basilio, Jr.) Padama, 82 years of age, of Castro Valley, CA, passed away on December 6, 2023. He was born on February 27, 1941 to Basilio Padama, Sr. and Esperanza Padama from Bani, Pangasinan, Philippines. Jun married the love of his life, Monina Laxamana, on August 12, 1968, and were happily married for 55 years. Jun was a veteran of the United States Navy, worked for the United States Postal Service for 32 years, and was also a successful self-employed business man running a chain of dry cleaning stores. Jun is survived by his loving spouse, Monina Padama, and their two sons: Jay Padama married to Rachel Padama, and Joel Padama married to Esperanza Padama, his twin sister: Rosa Padama, and his two older sisters: Angelina Padama and Nena Padama. He also leaves behind his cherished grandsons: Alexander Padama, and Benjamin Padama. Jun will be remembered for his love of cruising around the world with Monina while dancing the night away, spending time with family, friends, and his beloved grand dog Daisy.
