Julia P. Delgado “Grandma Choo-Choo” Age 102 Passed away peacefully at Windsor Park in Fremont on Oct. 17, 2008 at the age of 102. A native of Guijo De Galisteo, Spain, Julia was born July 21, 1906. A longtime resident of Union city, she moved to Fremont 15 years ago, she was a wonderful homemaker, a magnificent cook, her Spanish recipes will be shared for years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Marion Delgado; her very loving grandson, Tim Cole; her five brothers and one sister. Julia is the loving mother to Irene (George) Cole of Fremont, Edward (Claire) Delgado and Donald (Sherrie) Delgado of Turlock, CA.; cherished grandmother of Jeff Cole, Denise Cabral, Danny Delgado, Casey Delgado, Angela Delgado, Edward Delgado Jr., Bruce Delgado, Dennis Delgado, Kimberly Rigg, Charles Lamb, David Lamb and Michael Delgado; Loving great-grandmother of 17; revered great, great-grandmother of 6. She will also be missed by her great, great, great-grandchildren, 4 god-children, and many nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Delgado would like to send their sincere thanks to Windsor Park Parkside Drive Fremont, and Dr. Noora.
