Judito D Aton's Obituary
On Wednesday, 12th of July 2023, Mr. Judito D. Aton aka “Jude” as dear family and close friends fondly call him, a faithful servant of God, thoughtful, generous, loving husband and a great example of self enduring father of 3, had departed.
He graduated as Bachelor of Theology in Philippine Bible College, then started Bachelor of Arts in University of Baguio and continued in Philippine Christian University until third year. And obtained an associates degree in Brown Trail school of Preaching in Bedford, Texas.
During his early years in the Philippines, he started the congregation Central Manila Church of Christ, were he was able to conduct a series of gospel meetings and lectureship, and had some speaking engagements in the provinces and overseas, in Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand. His dedication to spread the word of God continues, by being a teacher at Bible School Manila, Philippines.
In 1996, they moved to the USA and continued being a full time preacher. He along with his devoted and caring wife Ruth, visited the sick and elderly members of the church, providing prayer and comfort, assisting them with their daily household chores. He was privileged to hold gospel meetings in congregations in Hayward, Alvin Drive Salinas, and conducted bible study and had speaking engagements at San Martin.
He continued living a humble life, by working in various fields, such as being a handyman, computer technician and certified nursing assistant. But he is most passionate about preaching.
During his free time, his youngest son JD always invited him to play golf and enjoyed being together. He was a good teammate. He was also able to spend precious moments with his eldest son’s family Dexter and wife Yvette, especially the grandchildren Troy and Courtney, which he was dearly called “grandpa”. His longingness to have his family complete was granted, when his daughter came a few months ago. The whole family cherished every single moment and created memories together.
For him, his wife Ruth exceeded the expectation and dedication of being the best caregiver and wife.
Jude was a great example of a man that has self control. He never talked bad about any person, no matter what the circumstances are. His passing is a big loss for his family and friends. But only comforts them, knowing that he is at Abraham's bosom along with other christians waiting on a temporary abode. Your great service to the churches of Christ, positive attitude and big laugh will be greatly missed.
Thank you Jude! Till we meet again.
