Juanita A. Caspillo passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on January 27, 1940, Juanita lived a life defined by unwavering faith, relentless prayer, and unconditional love for her family and community.
A devout Catholic, Juanita’s faith was the foundation of her life. She prayed the rosary daily with steadfast devotion, her prayers creating an umbrella of protection and blessing over her family. Passing on Christmas Day, her most cherished day of the year, is a profound sign of comfort that her prayers were answered and that her love and faith will continue to sustain her family.
Juanita now rejoins her beloved husband, Albert Michael Caspillo, along with her brothers and sister, in eternal peace. The thought of their joyous reunion brings solace to those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her four children, Albert Caspillo, Julie Caspillo, Cheryl Caspillo-Svenson, and David Caspillo, as well as her ten grandchildren, their spouses, and her great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit. Her role as a loving mother and devoted grandmother will forever be remembered.
Juanita found joy in life’s simple yet meaningful moments. Whether walking in the serenity of nature or offering a quiet prayer, she embodied grace, patience, and a deep connection to God. Her warm spirit and unshakable faith were a guiding light for her family and all who knew her.
Services to Honor Juanita’s Life:
• Viewing & Rosary: January 13, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA.
• Mass: January 14, 2025, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Holy Spirit Church Fremont), followed by a luncheon until 5:30 p.m. (Sunol Casa Bella 11984 Main Street, Sunol, CA 94586)
• Burial: January 15, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA.
Juanita’s love, relentless prayers, and legacy of faith will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know her. May her spirit continue to guide and protect her family as they carry forward her enduring devotion and love.
