Josephine was born on July 8, 1920 in Vacaville, CA to Spanish parents. She passed on to be with her loved ones on Monday, December 30, 2013.Josephine’s greatest enjoyment was being with her family and jaunts to Reno. She also loved to watch baseball and football games.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Vadine (Deenie) Salsedo; daughter-in-law Susan Salsedo; five granddaughters, Cindy Hooks, Deanna Welch, Michelle Claiborne, Darlene Graves, and Angela Pokorny and their spouses; and nine great-grandchildren; one surviving sister, Alice Fernandez. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dominick Salsedo and son John Salsedo.Josephine’s funeral service is Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10 am at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, California, 510-471-3363.
