Josephine Lema's Obituary
Josephine Lema Resident of Fremont Nov. 27, 1919-Aug. 18, 2011 Josephine Lema passed away peacefully with family at her side after a short illness. She will always be remembered for her independent spirit and desire to learn. Josie was born in Fort Collins, CO and lived her adult life in California where she married her husband. They were blessed with two children. She especially enjoyed camping in the Santa Cruz Mountains which provided much of the inspiration for her beautiful artwork. Josie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred and is survived by her children, Kenneth Lema (Roberta) and Janet DeLisle and grandchildren, Gary Lema, Gayle McMillan, Greg Lema, Lisa Sylvester, and Mark DeLisle, and six great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered by her family and her friends. Services will be private.
