JOSEPH M. VALDEZ JOSEPH M. VALDEZ Joe passed away January 2, 2007 at the age of 86. Devoted husband of Helen Valdez; loving dad to Patricia Pulley and Marty Valdez. A special and loving grandpa to Julie and Jennifer and great grandpa to Elizabeth and Brittney, Alexis, Justin, Sierra, Dominik, Ashten, Madiyn and Amber Falk. Joe worked for the United States Post Office for 30 years and was a War Veteran of World War II. He loved his music and belonged to the Mr. and Mrs. Club. He was an avid sport fan of both the A’s and 49ers and many other sports teams. His family will love and miss him everyday, his smile and his jokes and the way that he played with every grandchild. He was our leader and our rock. The special man he was will remain in our hearts always. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Friday, January 5, 2006 at 10:30 am in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
