Joseph “Joe” Jimena Jan. 13,1927 – Sept. 12, 2009 Resident of Hayward Beloved husband of Shirley Jimena for 51 years. Loving brother of Lillian Brooks. Devoted father of Larry Jimena (Delia), Barry Jimena and Kathleen Lukins (Paul). Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jessica, Jon Teresa, Alana and Brittany. He served four honorable years in the United States Navy. An avid fisherman, he had a great love of the outdoors and enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday September 18, 2009 in the Mission Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward Ca 94544. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in his memory be made to Kaiser Hospice, 30116 Eigenbrodt Way, Union City CA 94587
