Joseph Di Bari's Obituary
JOSEPH J. DI BARI JOSEPH J. DI BARI February 13, 1917 – January 12, 2007 Born in Paterson, NJ, Joe was a longtime resident of Fremont. He was a bus driver in New Jersey and later retired from the Santa Fe Railroad and Dale’s Hardware of Fremont. Joe enjoyed woodwork, being an all around handyman, traveling, music and dancing. He belonged to the Sons of Italy, the Moose Club, the Odd Fellows and the Five Spot Dance Club. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dalia De Bari; his sister, Margaret Di Bari of Fremont; his daughter, Geraldine Wuelfing (Mark Wuelfing) of Pioneer; his sons, Charles C. Di Bari (Ethel Di Bari) of Fremont, Joseph R. Di Bari (Veronica Di Bari) of Pleasanton and Robert J. Di Bari (Barbara Di Bari) of Sonora; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as his extended family Joseph and Sharon Coco of Fremont. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. There will be a rosary that Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2007 in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
