Josefa Polintan's Obituary
JOSEFA BANABAN POLINTAN JOSEFA BANABAN POLINTAN 86, passed away on February 12, 2007. She was born on November 26, 1920, Olongapo, Zambales, Philippines, and grew up in Caridad, Cavite City, Philippines, the beloved daughter of Clemente Banaban and Catalina Prodigalidad. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, embroidering, cooking, doing housework, reading gossip magazine, watching TV, taking good care of her family and a religious follower of God. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Magtangol C. Polintan and is survived by her son, Rolando Polintan and wife, Nenita, daughter Ederlinda Avecilla and husband, Rdolfo; her grandchildren, Josephine Polintan, Michael Polintan, Christine Avecilla and JOanne Avecilla; her youngest brother, Cristino Banaban, Sr. and wife Soledad, as well as many beloved families and friends, whom have loved her dearly. A prayer vigil service will be on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 5:30 pm-8:30 pm at Chapel of Chimes: Mission Chapel, 32992 Mission Boulevard Hayward, CA 94544 with Deacon Benigno Calub. A memorial mass will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 10:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Parish Church, Cabello & Dyer Union City, CA 94587 with Rev. Geoffrey Baraan officiating.
