Charlie Cooper
It's been seven years, and he still fuels my fire to be as great as I can be. When he taught me in high school, I was failing his class half way through the year. Some of the kids made fun of me because of it, so I asked him not to use me as an example in class. I didn't feel good enough. Instead, he did the opposite. He stood up in front of the whole class and used me as an example of what greatness looks like. Even through failure, I persisted and would give it my all. He didn't care what my grade was, because he knew that it didn't matter. What mattered what I saw that greatness for myself. Without him, I wouldn't have seen that and wouldn't be the man I am today. He showed me what true greatness looks like, and there's not a day that goes by where I don't miss him. I have so much love for you, Uncle Mig. Thank you for being there for me when no one else was, and know there's still someone who loves you and is moved by your words. To this day, you inspire me. No amount of words could reflect how grateful I am to have had you in my life.
