Johnnie B. Lewis a San Leandro, California resident entered into rest September 21, 2003 in San Leandro. Born in Texas on June 8, 1934, she was 69 years of age. Johnnie loved to sew, spend time with her grandchildren and always gave her best at every thing she did. She worked at Advo of Union city for 17 years. She was a wonderful Mother and loving wife who always looked for the good in people.Dearly beloved wife of James Lewis for 51 years. Loving mother of Laurie Lewis of San Leandro, Lynda Lewis of San Leandro and Lisa Carroll of Hayward. Devoted grandmother of five grandchildren.Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2003 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA."Service of Marked Distinction"
