John Joseph Shean's Obituary
John Shean late of Fremont, passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 65. Born in Oakland and raised in Los Gatos. He passed while on a bow and arrow hunting trip and camping with friends, which he loved so much. In his early years, John worked for the family business, Shean Construction. He later became an esteemed journeyman electrician and a proud member of the IBEW local 332. John was a welcoming individual who was a great friend to so many. He was known for his outgoing personality, friendly demeanor, always willing to help others and a loving husband of 25 years. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed many hobbies such as BBQing, smoking meats, fly fishing, archery, hunting and camping. John was a member of the Redmond Bowman Archery Club, the current President of Mission Peak Flyfishing Club, and a longtime member of the Elks Lodge 2121. John was survived by his wife Renee Shean and six siblings; Greg Shean, Tom Shean, Susan Lynch, Trish Wilson, Bill Shean, Jim Shean, his nephew Matt Lynch and his two dogs Blue and Carli. John was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Olivia Shean.
