John Gabriel Montalvo's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John, on Friday July 9th, 2021. John Gabriel Montalvo was born on October 9th, 1986 to his parents James Anthony Montalvo Sr., and Irma Rivera Montalvo, in Hayward, CA. He passed away unexpectedly, and leaves behind his beautiful 8 year old daughter, Nayeli Montalvo. John also leaves behind his dear brother, James Montalvo.
John's daughter was his whole world. He was a hard worker and a great father who enjoyed spending time with Nayeli, often cooking together and chasing sunsets. John worked for the Sheetmetal Workers Union, Local 104, for 17 years. He was currently in his 5th year of the apprenticeship program. Hiking became a passion of John's, he loved to hike Mission Peak, around Lake Chabot, and most recently hiked to the top of Mt. Tallac Trailhead in Lake Tahoe.
John will be forever loved and missed by his family and extended family of friends. He was taken away too soon, and now sits at every sunset.
