John Philip McKinnis passed away in San Lorenzo on March 7 2004 with his family by his side at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 53 years to Myrtice McKinnis of San Lorenzo; loving father of Christine McKinnis of San Lorenzo and the late Leigh Ann Mckinnis; dear brother of Patricia Mehlhoff of Brentwood; grandfather of Crystal Amos of Hayward; great-grandfather of Jahvon , Jalen and Asiannah of Hayward. John was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, worked for United Can Company and was a member of the Hayward Teamsters local. He was a Native of Oregon and a resident of San Lorenzo for 56 years. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services 10:00 am Friday March 12, 2004 at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, Ca. 94544.
