John Warren Duncan Resident of San Leandro Sept. 26, 1950 – Jul. 29, 2011 John Warren Duncan passed away on Friday after a valiant battle with cancer. He touched many lives and was the rock of his family. John was born in Oakland, Ca and graduated from Castlemont High in 1968. Two years later he married his loving wife of 32 years, Pamela, who passed away in 2002 after a short battle with cancer. John enjoyed a 40 year career with PG and E. He worked his way up from serviceman to a valued leader in the gas engineering and estimating department. He enjoyed American History, spoiling his grandchildren and watching his beloved Oakland Athletics. John is survived by his devoted children Jennifer and partner Richard of San Leandro, John Duncan Jr. and wife Cecille of Sparks, NV and grandchildren Caitlyn, Brandon, Arianna, Joseph, Brianna of San Leandro and Donovan and Ashley Duncan, Samantha and Amanda Smith of Sparks, NV. Friends and family are invited to his funeral service on Friday, Aug. 5th from 10 am to 12 pm.
