John H. "Jack" Burt, Jr. entered into rest Friday, July 5, 2002 in Washington State. He was a resident of Tacoma, WA. Born in Corvalis, OR on December 7, 1924, he was 77 years of age. A veteran of WWII. He was a resident of Hayward for 36 years. He retired from Clark Lift of Oakland in 1991 after 34 years of employment and moved to Washington State. He was active in Mt. Eden American Little League for 17 years, Sunset High Booster Club for 8 years. He enjoyed Golf, Bowling and loved dancing.His loving children, Jeff Burt and his wife, Mary of Rancho Santa Margarita, Jay Burt and his wife, Lisa of Puyallup, WA and John Burt and his wife, Annette of Castro Valley, survive him. Dear brother of Betty Urwan of Oakland and Richard Burt of Clear Lake. Caring grandfather of Michael, Christopher, Hollie, Sean, Mathew, Jennifer and Kevin.Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 11, 2002 from 5:30 to 8:30PM in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 12, 2002 also in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
