Joan Marie Wisely, 66 passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2001 at VA Hospital of Palo Alto, California. She was born on July 15, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was a resident of Union City, California for the last 31 years and prior in Alameda for 4 years. She worked at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, California as a Medical Secretary for 8 years and prior at Oakknoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, California for 12 years. She was a Secretary a total of 41 years. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed shopping for all her children. She was a very dedicated employee at Medical Installation. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.She is survived by her very beloved husband of 48 years, Thomas A. Wisely of Union City, California. She leaves behind her four loving sons, Thomas G. Wisely, Sr. of Livermore, Clifford M. Wisely, Sr. of Yuba City, Daniel W. Wisely of Lathrop and Stephen A. Wisely, Sr. of Union City, California. She also leaves behind her six beautiful grandchildren and one darling great-grandchild.Family and Friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, August 24, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
