Joan Shirley Simmons' Obituary
Resident of San Leandro May 17, 1935 – Jan. 24, 2009 Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday evening. She was 73 years old. She loved cooking, riding horses, fishing, traveling with her husband and anything that had to do with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Mark, her children: Michael, Donna (Pat), Joel (Ann), Jerry (Maria), and Keli (Mark) as well as her grandchildren: Wally, Sophie, Sarah, Zoelle, Julieann and Molly Rose. Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 30,2 009 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. Visitation at 9am followed by services at 11am. Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
