Jimmy “Dick” Sanchez March 7, 1928 – July 17, 2009 Resident of Modesto Dick entered into rest peacefully at home with his family by his side. Devoted husband of now deceased Serfa “Betty” Sanchez; Devoted father of Louise Landrum (Mike), Janet Twigg, Jimmy Sanchez (Becky); Loving Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother and Uncle to many. Dick touched many lives with his generous and caring nature. He enjoyed his life with his wife of 58 years and his family. Fishing, camping and life on his ranch raising animals, growing grapes and canning olives were his favorite pastimes. Please join the family for services honoring Dick’s life at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA. 94544. A viewing will be held on Friday July 24, 2009 from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. A funeral will take place on Saturday July 25, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with burial to follow.
