My favorite memory of my uncle Jim was when he visited us in Georgia from California back in the 80's. I remember he was wearing bell bottoms and had long hair and cool sunglasses. He was such a cool person to meet as a kid. I remember him playing basketball with us in the street. I was in awe of him.
I have been so lucky to know him. He spent many years serving his country and people. He will never be forgotten. He was one of the strongest men I ever knew. I always looked up to him for his strength and his sense of humor in hard times. When I heard that he was joking about the paintings the family did for him in hospice I was in even more awe of him. We've been lucky to have him in our lives and we'll see you soon Uncle Jim. Love you. ❤️
