Jill Williams Baer's Obituary
Jill Williams Baer, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2020. She was born March 17, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, making her way to the San Francisco Bay Area as a teenager, where she was a resident for over 60 years.
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Jill did administration for several medical offices. Jill eventually began working in the New Haven Unified School District in Union City, CA at New Haven Middle School, NHUSD District Office and finally at Alvarado Elementary School from where she retired after spending 28 years in the school district. During her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, her 2 dogs, visiting with friends, cheering on Bay Area sports teams and RV camping.
Jill is survived by her husband of 59 years, Steven, four children, Jeffrey (Yoshiko), Kenneth (Rebecca), Lisa (Kristin) and Michael and three grandchildren (John, Eric, Caspian).
Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of her life has been delayed until a later date.
