“Jesus Tanchico Giron was born in Bancaan, Naic, Cavite on January 19, 1937 to Brigida and Daniel Giron. He was the youngest of their five children; Lutgarda (Lading), Remegio, Diego, and Estelita (Lety). Jesus was a seaman for 20 years and traveled all over the world. He said his favorite places to have traveled to were Japan and Singapore. Once he came to the United States, he worked at Hayward Hills Health Care Center for 19 years as the maintenance/janitor. During this period, he was Employee of the Month numerous times. In his spare time he liked to listen to music, eat delicious food (especially his favorite dessert of halo-halo), write, play cards (especially solitaire), play bingo with his family, watch teleserye and TV patrol, go to the mall, be an avid Warriors basketball fan, and loved to dance especially with his beloved wife. He was the most loving and kind father and grandfather to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. He was a great provider and always did everything possible for his family, even refusing to retire until his elderly years. Jesus is survived by his wife of 56 years Marta Elsie Giron; his 6 children: Luzviminda (Arnie Bobby) Lukban, Maria Teresa (Jess) Madlangbayan, Dindo (Maria Leonora Theresa) Giron, Jose Joel (Maricon) Giron, Marelyn (Rafael) Digal, and Marichel (John) Arquisola; his 19 grandchildren: Jessie Anne, Arielle Lynne, Christina Marie, Ulysses, Zeus, Jesus II (Pips), Jesus III (Jet), Jessie Marie, Maria Jesseca, Leslie Mae, Dan Kenneth, Jose Nathaniel, Jairus Jake, Jerode, Jane Kamille, Marc Danniel, Lloyd, Ralph Juliane, and Jesus Rafael; and his 1 great grandchild: Athena.
