Jessie M. Martin a Union City resident entered into rest Tuesday, October 30, 2001 in Fremont. Born in San Miguel El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico on August 6, 2001, she was 80 years of age. Jessie was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker and a devout Catholic. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, cooking, pets and spending time with her family.Dearly beloved wife of Hipolito Martin. Loving mother of Gloria Gonzalez of Union City, David Martin of San Jose, Robert Martin of San Lorenzo, Mario Martin of Union City and Mark Martin of Fremont. Dear sister of Inez Moran of Murrieta, Mary Mahusay of Newark, Peter Lopez of Newark and Bruno Lopez of Ripon. Devoted grandmother of eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2001 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church: 703 "C" Street, Union City, CA 94587. Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, with Entombment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park: 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544."Service of Marked Distinction"
