DR. JENAW L. LABYA's Obituary
ObituaryDr. Je Naw L.Labya, age 61, of Union City, fell asleep in Jesus on Sunday, Feb 2, 2014. 

He was born in November 1952, in Namhpaka, Northern Shan State, Burma to L.Labya Gam and Daw Ma Hpang. Je Naw received his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine, Rangoon. He married Dorothy Shan Lone in 1978, and they lived together in Lashio before moving to San Francisco in 1998. 

Dr. Je Naw is much loved and respected by all who knew him. In his medical profession, his care and compassion for his patients, regardless of their station in life, is almost legendary. His generosity of spirit made a difference in the lives of all who came into contact with him. Above all, Je Naw was a man of great faith, and let it shine though in all his thoughts and actions.Dr. Je Naw is survived by wife Dorothy and four children: De Shawng, Hkawn Bu, Lu Awng, Jasen Naw Ring, and granddaughter: Isabel.A viewing will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, February 14, and funeral service will be at 10 am Saturday, February 15, at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, Hayward.
