Jeffrey Joseph Palma's Obituary
Jeffrey Joseph Palma died peacefully at home on March 18, 2017 in Fremont, CA at the age of 56.Jeffrey is survived by his father, Jose Palma and his wife Erlinda Palma; siblings, Gregory Palma, George Palma and Lorena Palma; nephew, Travis Palma; nieces, Lauren Palma and Ava Palma. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dalisay Palma.Jeffrey was born on September 22, 1960 in San Francisco, California to Jose and Dalisay Palma. He graduated from American High School of Fremont, CA in 1978. Jeffrey worked for Chevron Corporation, and then for US Air as a flight attendant, moving back to his beloved San Francisco. Being a flight attendant allowed him to explore and travel the world, yet always keeping the SF Bay Area homebase — allowing him to stay connected to his extended Palma and Cruz families.Jeffrey was well versed in the culinary arts and often shared his edible creations with family and friends. He was a sharp and quick-witted individual who loved music and the fine arts and who was passionate about keeping family history alive. He was an integral part of the laughter and joy shared from large and extravagant, to small and intimate gatherings alike throughout the years.Services are scheduled for March 28th at 4:30PM and March 29th at 9AM at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jeffrey’s life.
