Jeannie K. Chinn's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Jeannie Kim Chinn, on January 10th, 2025, in Oakland, California at the age of 88. Born on June 17th, 1936, in China, she graced this world with kindness and compassion that knew no bounds.
Mom was the embodiment of generosity and support. She taught us the true meaning of love through her everyday acts of kindness. Her compassionate spirit touched not only our lives but the lives of everyone who really knew her.
She is now reunited with our father, her beloved husband, George Yuen Chinn.
Together again, they watch over us from above.
We will forever cherish the memories and the love she shared with us. Her lessons of kindness and generosity will continue to guide us every day.
Jeannie is survived by her sons and their spouses, Larry(Doreen), Kenneth(Susie), Gordon(Soo),
7 grandchildren ( Jenny, Richard, Stephanie, Tiffany, Kathleen, Cynthia, Daniel ) and their spouses,
and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mom, thank you for filling our lives with love, care and warmth. You will always be in our hearts.
Services are scheduled for January 27th at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA
