J.D. O'REAR's Obituary
J.D. O’Rear was born January 10, 1923 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 18, 2014. He was 91 years old.J.D. is survived by his wife Billie Ruth. March 22, 2014 would have been their 69th wedding anniversary. He leaves his sister, Imadean Thompson of Clovis, California, his children, Dianna of Norman, Oklahoma, Deborah of Clearlake Oaks, California and Jaymie of Manteca, California. He is also survived by his loving 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by their son Jay Dennis O’Rear.He was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Hayward for 49 years. He served as an ordained deacon and church treasurer for many years.Services will be at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, California. A visitation will be Sunday, March 23 from 4:30 pm – 9 pm. at the chapel
